Crypto.com is happy to announce that its tax services are now available in Australia.

As per the announcement, Crypto.com decided to expand into Australia following the successful launch of Crypto.com Tax in the United States and Canada.

Crypto.com Tax is a free solution for cryptocurrency owners to file their taxes easily. This service allows users to generate accurate and organized tax reports at no cost. In addition, the service allows users to record their short or long-time capital gains, view their transaction history, and any other crypto-related taxable and non-taxable transactions.

Crypto.com Tax has full integration with popular exchanges and wallets with an easy-to-use interface. Notably, the service allows users to import crypto transaction records from supported wallets and exchanges. Some of the supported exchanges and wallets include Bittrex, Binance, Bitbuy. Coinbase, Kraken and others. Users can import the data through an API synchronization with major platforms like the Crypto.com App or uploading a CSV file.

While commenting on the expansion, Crypto.com co-founder and CEO Kris Marszalek explained:

“We’re excited to expand our free-to-use crypto tax reporting service to Australia. We have long been committed to offering the most compliant and easy-to-use crypto platform in the world. As part of that commitment, we are proud to offer all Australian crypto investors an easy solution to filing their taxes. More markets will be added soon.”

Crypto.com Tax delivers an estimate of taxable gains or losses on relevant crypto transactions. This is done within minutes. The service also makes it possible for the user to download the report in a format of their choice. Then, they can use the report to file their taxes. One thing to note is that All results are transparent and reviewable before the final results are generated.

Before launching the service, Crypto.com worked with professional tax advisers to ensure that the service met all the Australian tax requirements.

Crypto.com Tax is the first entirely free service crypto tax product in the market. Users can get started by signing up using their email addresses or Google accounts. Notably, the users do not necessarily have to be a Crypto.com user. In the coming days, Crypto.com hopes to expand the tax service to other jurisdictions.
