Crypto.com App users can now purchase crypto with Apple Pay

Crypto.com now allows users to buy crypto via Apple Pay, a digital wallet from the tech giant Apple Inc. and which is available to millions of iPhone users.

According to an announcement Crypto.com released on Friday, customers will from now on easily and securely buy crypto and pay using their Apple Pay.

To access the feature, customers will use their iPhone to add their credit/debit card. This connects to the Apple Wallet on the user’s phone, allowing for quick, secure crypto purchases.

The exchange said fees and trading limits applicable to credit and debit cards on the platform.

Apple Pay on Crypto.com App launched for US users

According to Crypto.com, the payment feature is only currently available to US users, except for residents of New York and the US territories of Puerto Rico, Guam, Virgin Islands, American Samoa, and Northern Mariana Islands.

The exchange however plans to “progressively” expand accessibility to other countries.
