Crowdsourcing has grown along with the internet. Now, a startup called CrowdPrecision aims to take crowdsourcing to the next level using blockchain technology.
CrowdPrecision announced its goals in a press release from earlier today. CrowdPrecision is scheduled to launch its ICO on July 22, 2018. That ICO will finance the development of the CrowdPrecision platform, which has a long-term goal of disrupting global outsourcing and crowdsourcing.
Traditional crowdsourcing consists of spreading a task or a series of tasks to an audience of multiple people. How does CrowdPrecision plan to disrupt this model?
According to the press release,
“The CrowdPrecision project highlights the deciding points in which current crowdsourcing platforms are failing and instead proposes a new perspective in the shape of a revolutionary digital platform.”
After launching on July 22, the CrowdPrecision platform will allow users to have a unified channel dedicated to the following key crowdsourcing tasks:
Full-time personnel recruitment Freelance agent assignments for carrying specific jobs Resolution of tasks by a broad audience Microtasking worldwideHow exactly does CrowdPrecision plan to use blockchain technology? How can blockchain technology make crowdsourcing more efficient? Here’s how the press release explains it:
“In the CrowdPrecision protocol, a set of variable nodes are allowed to sustain an unalterable recording of the different transactions, when practicing the work collaboration plan, procedures are carried out evenly, the agreements are managed and performed due to the use of smart contracts where the negotiations are settled in algorithms; when meeting the requirements they get activated and executed automatically. It is an integration tool in which numerous outsourcing platforms are joined, the collaborator’s profiles get unified in a single and user-friendly environment.”
Partnerships are another crucial part of the CrowdPrecision platform. CrowdPrecision has partnered with two companies, including Microworkers and Scalehub.
MIcroworkers is a leading company in the field of microtasks operations. The company has offered its solutions for 9+ years and has a global working community of 1.1 million with 40 million fulfilled tasks since inception.
ScaleHub, meanwhile, is a cloud-based software company dedicated to processing and handling documentation for complex digitization tasks.
CrowdPrecision will have a number of key features that aim to distinguish it from traditional crowdfunding platforms. For example, CrowdPrecision will allow users to administer and control their crowdsourcing community, including assigning tasks with users.
Users will also be able to join forces on solving tasks, collaborating through the platform and receiving benefits in relation to the amount of work they contribute to each project.
CrowdPrecision will also have a trust and reputation system. Here’s how the company explains that system:
“As the different tasks are accomplished each of the users will accumulate a value that will increase their position within the system, as follows to receiving payment, collaborators can also raise their competitivity approach, and companies can reach to them after evaluating their profiles. Agreements and interactions between collaborators and the corporations would be registered in the blockchain structure, which allows both sides to analyze in depth the concept and the quality of the counterpart.”
Users will also have a wallet on the CrowdPrecision platform. That virtual wallet will be maintained across a distributed ledger, allowing companies to see how their investments get distributed across the crowdsourced community, and allowing the crowdsourced community to view their rewards in relation to the amount of work they contribute to a project.
Overall, CrowdPrecision aims to offer quality crowdsourcing on a blockchain-based platform. The CrowdPrecision token sale is scheduled to take place from July 22 to August 19, 2018, during which the company will release CrowdPrecision Tokens (CPT).
