COTI, a blockchain-powered payment platform, has announced that its work with IOG and the Cardano Foundation continues, and its ADA Pay solution will be used by Wolfram Alpha for an NFT auction.
IO Global (IOG) is a technology company focused on engineering and research in blockchain structures; best known for the Cardano blockchain platform.
Wolfram Blockchain Labs provides distributed ledger technology ecosystems with the tools necessary to assist in the development of a wide variety of smart, contract-based applications.
As the DLT-focused subsidiary of Wolfram Research, Inc., Wolfram Blockchain Labs is the creator of Mathematica, Wolfram|Alpha, and the Wolfram Language.
The partnership was made possible by the Cardano Foundation as part of Cardano’s NFT strategy. Notably, before the introduction of ADA Pay, Cardano NFT auctions took place in Discord.
With the innovation that ADA Pay offers, bidding and paying in NFT auctions with ADA is now streamlined.
Core technology introduced: ADA payments for NFTs. Bidding and auction mechanisms. Custody for auctioneers. Rapid balance analysis. New APIs.“It’s been great to work with COTI and IO Global to bring this project to life. We want to take the NFT experience to another level, and reach many communities. We have learned a lot about creating consumer oriented services and, what started just as a simple idea, became a really cool and powerful platform by closely reviewing and working with these two wonderful teams.”
