25 February 2021 – Bitcoin’s recent epic run is getting a lot of attention, attracting both professionals and amateurs alike. For those new to the crypto sphere, the world’s first cryptocurrency can be very intimidating.
CoinGecko, the leading independent cryptocurrency data aggregator, is furthering their efforts to help guide those interested in crypto with the launch of their “How to Bitcoin” book.
“We are now seeing Fortune 500 companies, such as Tesla, investing significant amounts of money into Bitcoin to hold it as part of their corporate Treasury. With this increase of holdings by large institutions, we also foresee that the general public will begin to have more faith and trust in Bitcoin, leading to strong retail demand,” said Bobby Ong, COO of CoinGecko
“As such, we believe it is important for them to begin their crypto journey on the right foot by understanding the fundamentals and we look forward to being part of the process.”
CoinGecko’s “How to Bitcoin” book is written for beginners who are interested to learn more about Bitcoin. This book was written by CoinGecko’s research team of seven people – Kristian Kho, Khor Win Win, Crystaline Loo, Lee Shu Wei, Shaun Paul Lee, Teh Sze Jin, and Bobby Ong.
The “How to Bitcoin” book succinctly breaks down the basics of Bitcoin with comprehensive analogies as well as step-by-step guides on how to get started. Readers will learn more about Bitcoin, including its history and evolution, and how it compares to money.
Other than that, the step-by-step guides will help them to securely buy and sell Bitcoin as well as store it using desktop, mobile, and hardware wallets.
“How to Bitcoin” is CoinGecko’s second book and follows up “How to DeFi” which is the world’s first book to cover the subject of Decentralised Finance. Grab a copy of the “How to Bitcoin” book here.
