Chinese And French Firms Partner To Build Eco-Friendly Blockchain-Monitored Skyscraper
One of the latest and most interesting partnerships in the blockchain industry is between China and France. In June, XTU Architects, a French architecture firm and Systemic, a French business consortium, both partnered with a Chinese developer to construct an eco-friendly blockchain-monitored skyscraper.
The project is currently in its “vision” stage and it was introduced in Hangzhou, a Chinese city recognized for its impressive architectural structures and energy-efficient and eco-friendly “dream towers.”
The project will include four towers with a curved design, which will each direct rainwater to basins. There will also be a great amount of flora to filter polluted air and rainwater before it evaporates. Further, window panes will feature micro algae to regulate the buildings’ temperatures.
As for the blockchain-based network of the building, it will be designed by Gold Truffle Engineering. The blockchain project will manage the buildings’ aspects such as air quality, energy storage, and other environmental systems. The building itself, aside from providing housing, dining, art galleries, and technology hubs, the buildings will also feature history of both Chinese and French architecture.
