How Does the Canaan Avalon A9 a 30 THS Bitcoin ASIC Miner Work?
We have some fresh information about the next generation of the Avalon A9 Bitcoin ASIC miner. The Canaan Creative gave some clues about the miners based on 7nm technology and that will be providing 30 THS hashrate using 1720 Watts of power usage.
This means that the Avalon A9 will have very interesting features and proposals to compete in a very difficult market. And yes, it already has better features than other miners that were recently launched such as the GMO B3 or the Innosilicon Terminator 2 Turbo.
Until now, Bitmain did not release any specific solution to compete against the Avalon A9, but the market is expecting the giant company to release a product that will have between 20 to 30 THS range. Until now, the Avalon A9 is the most energy efficient miner in the market. As per the company, the price of the miner will also be very accessible for those interested investors.
Another interesting thing to mention is that they will be launching a line of TV sets – LB4318 that will have built-in ASIC mining chips. The TC set will have 43-inch, a 4K panel and features such as a 26x A3210 16nm mining chip. The TV set will be providing 2.8 THS hashrate and 100 Watts per THS power usage.
Of course, this is a very interesting and unique product in the market. It has a different purpose and comes with a built-in mining capability. It will be interesting to see if there is interest in such kind of devices. The market needs to test this proposal and let other companies get prepared in case they want to enter the market.
