It was announced today that Blockchain.io, a new crypto exchange which was first shown back in February has announced that its MVP is now live for early investors. The platform is created by a company called Paymium, which was one of the first European platforms for the people who were interested in buying and selling Bitcoins for Euro according to the European regulations.
MVP, for the people who are not familiar with the concept, means Minimum Viable Product and its main function is to allow early adopters of a certain product to test it before the product is actually launched to the main public.
The company seems interested in following the regulation across the world, as it recently filled its registration (and it was accepted) by the United States Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).
Which Features Does Blockchain.io Have Right Now?As you should expect from a MVP launch, the features that the exchange has right now are somewhat barebones and they are focused on the most simple and important aspects of the product.
Blockchain.io already has a high-performance matching engine to increase the scalability and the liquidity on the platform and find the perfect trades for the users. You can already set basic and advanced orders using the company’s program. These orders range from stop loss, take profit, trailing stop, limit orders and self-cancelling and expiration orders.
The company also shows an improved design and user interface. Both the basic interface and the trading interface have been optimized to be easy to use. You will also be able to use the BCIO tokens that you have bought to get discounted trading, survey participation rights and free payments.
Which Features Will Blockchain.io Have In The Future? Some supplementary features will only be available in 2019 during the main launch. They are cross-chain atomic swaps, a very a popular feature right now that is a decentralized settlement option with the ability to allow traders to execute trade orders by using other chains and other protocols via cross-chain swap.
Other future features include periodic auctions that will be made several times a day and P2P lending for the people who want to lend or to borrow money by using the platform.
There is also short and long margin trading, in which traders borrow money to open long or short positions and guarantee their security margins.
How To Use Blockchain.io?According to the material that the company has released to the press, Blockchain.io will have a clear and simple interface with a buy and sell screen that you will use to trade Bitcoin, Litecoin, Ethereum and Ripple. At launch, Bitcoin Cash will also be available, as well as some ERC20 tokens.
After you decide to put an order for selling or buying, you have to wait and you will be messaged when the transaction is complete.
The software will also have a trade interface for more experienced users that will want reports of the market in real time to be trade in a more well informed manner. This platform is currently available only for early investors of Blockchain.io.
