In addition, Hedera Hashgraph has also hired Atul Mahamuni and Nigel Clark as Senior VP of Products and Senior VP of Partners and Industries respectively.
Speaking on the additions, Mance Harmon, the CEO of Hedera, said that the company aims to introduce the first enterprise-grade blockchain platform in the industry. He added that Chocron is deeply experienced in understanding the needs of businesses, nurturing solutions and promoting them in a way that guarantees adoption. Harmon concluded by saying that the new additions will contribute massively to their goal of developing a platform capable of handling the most-demanding apps.
Besides Oracle, Chocron has had an illustrious career path, working for some of the most prestigious companies in the world. He has served as the VP and General Manager at Cisco, where he played a key role in the establishment and scaling of the company's Internet of Things business. He also worked at BNP Paribas and A.T. Kearney. Concerning academics, Chocron holds an MBA from UC Berkeley Haas Business School, a Master’s in Engineering from McGill University and an undergraduate degree in engineering from Ecole des Mines.

The platform will allow developers to create trusted apps that solve specific challenges and monetize them without the need for intermediaries. To accomplish this objective, the company is focusing on the main challenges to the mass adoption of blockchain technology, namely security, scalability, stability, and regulatory uncertainty.
About HederaHedera is a public distributed ledger platform designed to serve as a platform for developing DApps. It relies on the unique Hashgraph algorithm to create fast and secure decentralized apps.
