Lisk Center Berlin will open next month, uniting developers, blockchain enthusiasts, and innovators to share ideas and build on the popular blockchain applications platform.
Blockchain applications development in a live spaceThe 300 m2 area will sit in a renovated landmark building between Berlin’s Kreuzberg and Mitte districts. It will offer an open space for events and networking, working space, and a meeting room. Visitors can test Lisk products and already-built proof of concepts. The goal is to united Lisk community members to build blockchain applications in a collaborative, in-person environment.
Lisk has pushed to provide more space for in-person collaboration, complementing Lisk developers frequent communication and collaboration online. The new German location will mark the third such blockchain application facility in the world. Lisk previously opened Lisk Center Utrecht in the Netherlands and Lisk Center Tokyo in Japan.
Opening events November 20-21Lisk will introduce its new Berlin space on November 20 in an online event. The event, as well as the space itself, will be dedicated to research and development using the Lisk ecosystem to build blockchain applications.
The following day will feature an open house for a limited number of people to visit the space, meet the Lisk Berlin team, and network with other members of the blockchain community. COVID-19 protocols will be in place.
Lisk ecosystem seeks to attract new developersFounded in Zug, Switzerland, Lisk launched its network in 2016. Lisk is an open-source project focused on blockchain accessibility.
