As a token of appreciation for their continued support, South Korea based cryptocurrency exchange Bithumb is now offering a 70-percent transaction fee payback program for its overseas users. The exchange has decided to provide these refund benefits to users who completed transactions worth KRW 1 billion from Oct. 22 to Nov. 21.
What Does the Promotion Include? The “Cryptocurrency Transaction Fee Payback Promotion” will provide a 70-percent payback for overseas users who will complete transactions for over KRW 1 billion (approx. $890,000 Bithumb cash standard). The transaction fees will be refunded to users between Dec. 10 and Dec. 14. Both existing and new users of the platform will be eligible for the cashback rewards. The promotion isn’t for Korean nationals or anyone who has joined the platform with a Korean mobile number.
The company ran a similar promotion in September, providing 70-percent paybacks for overseas users who complete transactions worth KRW 1 billion on the platform between Sept. 20 and Oct. 21. The winners of the previous promotions will be paid from Nov. 5 to Nov. 9.
Two Offers Available to New UsersNew users will also be able to make use of the 20,000 Bithumb cash promotion that the exchange has been running since last week. The reward will be available to users who spend KRW 20 million (approx. $18,000) worth of transactions on the platform. The promotion started on Oct. 15 and will end on Nov. 14. Users will be eligible to participate in both the events simultaneously. Global users can make use of the foreign language counseling service of the exchange, which is available in English, Japanese, and Chinese.
Andy Choi, head of marketing department at Bithumb, commented on the platform’s growing global footprint, saying:
“The existing one such as Bitcoin, Ethereum and Monero as well as many other cryptocurrencies are constantly being listed on the stock exchange with the huge global interest. We are glad to continue this event in October as well to reward overseas members for their support.”
