At press time, Bitcoin [BTC] held a market cap of $93.16 billion and was valued at $5,272, registering a 24-hour trading volume of $12.71 billion. Over the past 24-hours, the largest crypto-asset on CoinMarketCap increased by o.39%.

The candlestick arrangement for the one-day BTC chart recorded an uptrend from $4,139 to $5,136. A downtrend from $6,332 to $5,529 was observed. The immediate resistances were found at $5,561 and $6,356. The support points on the chart were at $3,703 and $3,389.

Bollinger Bands: The parallel bands indicated a stagnant market phase for BTC.

Awesome Oscillator: The closing red bars of the AO indicator pictured a bearish trend for the gold crypto coin.

Chaikin Money Flow: The CMF was below the zero-line, indicating that money was flowing out of the coin market. Hence, a bearish price trend for the crypto-asset was pictured.

Litecoin [LTC]

Litecoin [LTC], exhibited a minor dip of 1.69 % over the past 24 hours and was priced at $71.51. The silver crypto recorded a 24-hour trading volume of $2 billion. The fifth largest digital asset held a market cap of $4.48 billion.

The one-day LTC chart recorded a significant uptrend from $32.80 to $70.32 and a downtrend from $55.78 to $34.19. The resistance continued to be the much-anticipated $90-mark. The support level for the coin was found at $46.10 and $30.76.

Parabolic SAR: The dotted markers were above the candlesticks and indicated a bearish phase for LTC.

MACD: The MACD line was also below the signal line and depicted a bearish pattern for the coin’s valuation.

Klinger Oscillator: The reading line was also below the signal line and depicted a bearish trend for the coin’s price.

Conclusion

Both the leading digital coins posted strong bearish signals. BTC’s price movement continued to lay low as LTC struggled above the $71-mark against the US Dollar.
