Bitcasino.io, a leading Bitcoin casino, and sportsbook has raised a massive 20 BTC (EUR 162,000) by donating player rewards in collaboration with its partners, as part of plans to support the COVID-19 victims. Building upon this huge milestone, Bitcasino.io has now joined forces with The Giving Block for a charity poker tournament dubbed “No-Limit Hold’em” charity poker tournament.
The campaign raised the funds by urging players from Bitcasino’s pioneering Loyalty Club to donate their rewards plus a COVID-19 virtual relief concert with The Giving Block.
Since May 16, 2020, Bitcasion has been collaborating with some crypto big whales including Litecoin founder, Charlie Lee and David Bailey, Bitcoin Magazine CEO, to raise more funds to fight COVID-19 via tournaments.
Notably, the first event will be supported by Binance Charity and the organization has hinted that it plans to match all funds raised 2 to 1. Bitcasino will also double donations up to $10k.
It’s worth noting that this is the third charity poker tournament to ever take place and it’s the first one to be supported by Bitcasino. The previous two tournaments attracted more than 50 crypto enthusiasts and influencers from across the globe.

Commenting on the exciting project, Tauri Tiitsaar, Director of Casino at Bitcasino reiterated that:
“Now’s the time to band together with the crypto community in support of those who are most vulnerable to the threat of COVID-19. After a series of successful charity campaigns and more to come, we hope to show the world how generous our crypto community is and how crypto can be used for positive change.”
