Binance will accept WeChat and Alipay as a way to buy Bitcoin (BTC) and other cryptocurrencies with fiat. The news was initially circulating as rumors but has now been confirmed. Update (2019-10-09, 2:44 PM): Zhao has clarified that Binance is not directly working with either WeChat or Alipay.

According to a tweet today by Dovey Wan, founding partner of Primitive Ventures, the Chinese social media company released an updated payment policy which states that it will terminate merchant accounts that participate in cryptocurrency transactions.
