Whether you are expressing yourself or rewarding yourself for achievement through body art, committing to a tattoo is quite a big decision. But whether it is the right decision or a mistake you make while on the tattoo's artist chair, your choice will last you a lifetime.
Was CZ Up For It?In a recent post on Medium, Binance CEO Changpeng Zhao (CZ) made the crypto world of the apparent Binance he got last week. The post, written by CZ, explains how the CEO together with CoinMarketCap Gareth and Luke Wagman ended up with crypto-themed tattoos during their time in Singapore.
CZ explains the details of the night by saying:
“All was normal at a casual dinner with Luke and Gareth in Singapore, until the very end, when we noticed the Bitcoin logo tattooed on Luke's arm. And he was ready to add tattoos of the CoinMarketCap and Binance logos to his arm, which would soon be a “crypto-arm.”
Earlier on December 1st, the CEO of Binance gave a hint to the possibility of a tattoo of the Binance logo. In the tweet, CZ posts a link to an Instagram video which shows an arm getting tattooed the Binance logo.
The tweet reads:
Are you committed? Hell yeah. https://t.co/dajq9F0CyP

At the time of the video, CZ would not confirm whether it was indeed him getting the tattoo. However, the Medium post on Binance page finally confirms CZ was the one getting tattooed while in Singapore with his crypto counterparts.
Coming Up With The Binance LogoIn the Medium post, CZ also took time to elaborate on how the team at Binance came up with the company's logo. A portion of the short story reads:
Sixteen months ago, when we were designing the Binance logo, we tried many different variations. We wanted to represent the bids and asks on the exchange with two squares, while also echoing the “binary” word in our name (Binance = Binary Finance).
So, we had two squares on top of each other. It looked too much like a digital 8, and while the number is lucky in Chinese culture, it just didn't feel right. Our designer, Tang, made a few different variations, and I noticed the two diagonal squares on top of each other, with a slight overlap.
The Future With BinanceCZ goes on to explain his dedication and focus to Binance as steadfast and ongoing. The CEO regards getting the tattoo as a symbol of his commitment to the lasting of the Binance platform. He jokingly asks for ICO founders to get tattoos of their project's logo to show dedication to their investment ventures.
From CZ's tattoo experience, tattooing a logo is just one of the few actions they can use to demonstrate a guarantee of devotion to their ventures. Changpeng Zhao ends his article post by providing a professional Binance logo grid from the company's design team for the interested individuals looking to get the tattoo voluntarily.
