With more and more attention growing in the NFT art world, everyday is more crowded and competitive in the NFT art collectors world. It’s as rewarding as risky investment that humanity did for over a thousand years yet only very recently improved. Picking your wallet for such an important investment is the first thing any collector has to do. Let’s check out all the wallets that provide NFT art storage.
Trust WalletTrust wallet has the advantage of being one of the most known wallets in the crypto space. Plus it is incredibly easy to use with an amazing mobile design as well. The whole point of picking trust wallet over any other option is the fact that it provides comfort and ease of use to all customers.
There is nothing complicated to learn and it provides NFT art storage in all kinds of chains all at the same time as well, you will be able to check them out anytime you want with a few clicks on your phone. This puts Trust Wallet to a level where it is very hard to reach by most other wallets. The only downside of trust wallet is that it’s a bit slow at times because of the huge customer base, so lags do happen from time to time.
MetaMask
Do we really need to even talk about MetaMask? It is the most used wallet right now and every single website, every single product, project, game, art and anything else that can be done all accepts MetaMask. This does not mean that it is the best, but it certainly is the most loved and used one by the community.
You can store your NFT art in MetaMask however unlike any other place, you can also use them when they are in your wallet as well which is a big change compared to most other places where you just put them in your wallet and take them out, being able to use them while they are in the wallet gives a big advantage for the wallet.
At the end of the day it is MetaMask and if you are starting new or a veteran, it is certainly one that you should at least have one even if you use another one just for ease of access on places that do not have your wallet option.
Binance Chain WalletThe most obvious answer for anyone who deals with the BSC ecosystem. It is also good for other chains as well there is no denying that, however if you are using it for any NFT art in the BSC bep-721 or bep-1155 chains then you will want to use Binance Chain Wallet without a doubt.
Just like how BSC is very well connected in the DeFi world to the wallet, and how its easy to use and cheaper and faster for things like pancakeswap or bakeryswap or all the other yield farming websites that we talked about before. Same goes for the NFT world in the BSC being better in their own wallet as well.
Math Wallet
Math wallet is in a tricky situation right now, they are very much loved by the Polkadot community and they do have a decent number of users, they are also working with the NFT art world at the same time.
They even let you stake many things right in the wallet as well which is a great feature that most other wallets do not provide. However the only downside they have which created a lot of trouble for them is the lackluster support they have, if you face no problems then they are certainly at the top of many lists, but the moment there is a problem, then it gets a little tricky which not many people enjoy and would want to take the risk.
PillarPillar project is one that has not been picked up by the community in large, it is one that still feels the growing pains and this causes a lot of people to skip looking at it. This doesn’t mean that the wallet itself is a bad one, it is certainly technologically there with most other wallets and what it provides, however sometimes being good is not enough to make a wallet loved by everyone.
Lack of marketing and extra things to offer to people, Pillar was a bit of a secondary option for many users, hence why it was not downloaded and used like the high level wallets that people are using these days. However if you want to give it a chance, it certainly is a good looking wallet that can store almost any NFT art chain and help you keep your portfolio safe as well. In any feature, it is definitely as good as all other wallets that we can find while also having a great UI that helps new investors/collectors to end up having a good time understanding easily as well.
When you compare the downside of lack of user base with the upside of being a good wallet, our idea is that Pillar could definitely be picked only if you do not mind not having too many sources about it online and believe you can be fine with being out of mainstream options.
EnjinEnjin wallet comes from the famous Enjin token, which is part of the NFT art and gaming world as well. Amazing games like Lord of Relics, Nestables, space misfits, the six dragons and 9lives arena. You are looking at a wallet that has a coin of itself that has so many games built into it at the same time. If you are interested in the crypto NFT gaming world and you are sick and tired of paying high gas fees for eth based games, then Enjin games are certainly worthy to look at.
Specially Lord of Relics is a game that the community enjoys a lot and there are tons of youtubers who play it and gets viewed a lot, in return creates a hype for the game which gains new users hence there are more enjin wallet users as well in return of this. The newly hyped “play to earn ” model is certainly one that doesn’t seem to be going anywhere anytime soon, and Enjin seems to be getting a front row seat for this new revolution that we are seeing, the longer this play to earn method continues the bigger Enjin may grow. All of this means if you are looking for a wallet for your gaming, and if you are playing any game on Enjin then this is definitely the option for you.
Coinbase Wallet
Coinbase is certainly one of the most known names in our list. With their recent IPO in the stock market, now they are as professional as it gets and institutional as well.
This provides a certain level of credibility for them, considering they would never imagine to scam anyone because of the big risk they would be taking, and they provide a great amount of security as well, most news about any trouble we hear derives from the fact that they have countless times more user base than most other wallets as well. This causes them to be one of the best NFT art wallets in the world, high technological features, great ease of use, many features that the community may want and definitely a great support at the same time.
One downside for them is the fact that they need to follow all kinds of regulations pressured to them by the US government and its official branches, so that means they can’t allow people from certain nations and they will require you to follow those same regulations as well, making it a bit limiting at times.
ArgentArgen is the rare social recovery wallet in our list, which means that you get to sign some guardians to access your wallet if you want to in case that you forget your passwords, passphrase or overall just do not have any contact to your wallet anymore.
This is great on both sides, it provides people who lost their wallets access but also great because no hacker would be able to get their hands on your wallet, that way they would have to go through your guardians and since your guardians would know its not them, it would be virtually impossible for anyone to get your NFT art out of your wallet.
However their downside is that they charge a substantially higher gas fee compared to all the other wallets, assuming a service fee for the new feature that helps so many people to be a bit more safe and have a bit more comfort about their wallets.
Closing ThoughtsThere is no right answer when you are picking a wallet, as long as you pick one that is not a scam or a shady project, then you can pick any of these options and know that you picked one that technically does everything all the other wallets would provide for you as well, there are some small differences and nuances between each wallet, big differences in user base for some, but at the end of the day it’s always the same thing that they provide for you.
Best course of action would be to test them all out, this way if you give a week to each of them, then you will realize which one you like the best and you can go with it. Nobody else could pick a wallet just for you, every person enjoys different things, even designs could be different for everyone, one may love X wallets design while the other person may hate it. Hence ; we suggest everyone to give them a chance and see which one you will like better.
