NEO On the Rise – Aphelion announces new Web-Based NEO Wallet for Mobile Devices
The decentralized exchange project, Aphelion has recently announced that it will be releasing a new web-based NEO wallet that's designed for use on mobile devices.
Functioning as a Peer to Peer trading platform for cryptocurrencies (DEX) that also runs on the NEO blockchain has brought forward its digital wallet to offer its users the ability to utilize the wallet for decentralized, peer to peer based trading with other users worldwide.
Aphelion's NEO Trading WalletSome of the top priorities that have been on Aphelion's list when it comes to their new wallet include the dual concerns of security and scalability. These have been such priority issues for the exchange that it makes up the grounds for its pending DEX implementation.
While it offers a great deal of quality, security and anonymity, it remains true to those values, especially when announcing its own wallet through social media. Via Twitter, the company simply announced, in a Laconic fashion: “Aphelion Releases Mobile Web Wallet“.

Under the Hood – Aphelion's Mobile Web WalletWhile shrouded in the initial mystery of its social media announcement, Aphelion's web wallet boasts a number of the same features users have grown with on its app-based NEO Wallet, with the exception that is currently only available on Android.
With the introduction of the wallet, users will be able to check and manage their latest transactions, fine-tune their wallets in terms of interface, including allowing them to add encrypted keys and transact in NEO, GAS & NEP-5 assets. The wallet also gives users the ability to view their existing NEO portfolio from a mobile browser.
The company has, in the past stated, and has presently reiterated that it's based on the NEO blockchain, as it ‘supports faster development and deployment of smart contracts and projects, as it enables developers to build on programming languages already familiar with them'.
Ongoing / Upcoming UpgradesCurrently, the Aphelion series of mobile wallets can't be processed to the Aphelion DEX and is currently undergoing a number of updates in order to support this compatibility, including its developments within the NEO testnet.
Until this processing issues is resolved, users will have to use Alphelion's existing desktop wallet in order to utilize the DEX. DEX-based trading will be added to the mobile platforms after its smart contract is published on the NEO MainNet.
“Apple has approved the iOS app and we are awaiting for them to release it into approved markets, they are auditing each countries legalities and we do not have an ETA from them at this time.” According to a statement made by the company.
