Blockchain’s Future Worth?
It’s uncontested that blockchain’s value has deceased significantly and in the past few weeks, it has stagnated. Still, experts are now predicting the future value of the cryptocurrency and many of them are varied. Some believe that cryptocurrency will be worth from as low as $100 to $1 million – and that’s quite a range.
ArzDigital has created several infographics that compare various predictions. Based on the graph, historical supports tend to take the position that the value of cryptocurrency will increase significantly in the coming two years. John McAfee is one such historical supporter and he believes the value could reach $1 million. Tim Draper is a moderate who believes that the value will be around $250,000 in 2020. As for Tyler Winklevoss, his position is that bitcoin may reach around $320,000.
Traditional economists have been also providing their opinion. They seem to be more pessimistic concerning the value of the cryptocurrency. According to Joseph Stiglitz, a Nobel Prize winner, he sees the currency hovering around $100 in the coming years. Another economist, Kenneth Rogoff believe that cryptocurrency has “no chance” of posing a threat to the current financial order.
Of course, at the end of the day, it is impossible to know who is correct and who is not. JP Morgan Chase, the banking entity, seems to be convinced that no matter what the value, cryptocurrency is not going anywhere.
