Stellar (XLM) has been trying to stabilize after a rough couple of days, and the latest developments in the ecosystem couldn’t arrive at a more interesting time.
A major push for cross-chain payments is forming, and Stellar is right in the center of it. Solana, TON, Polygon, and Stellar announced a new Blockchain Payments Consortium aimed at fixing fragmentation in global stablecoin transfers.
It’s a big deal for a market valued at $20 trillion on-chain last year. Furthermore, the partnership of Stellar with the United Nations is still expanding in an attempt to help stimulate the introduction of blockchain-driven financial tools in developing regions. Long-term prospects seem quite solid.
