Web3 payment infrastructure startup Cheqd is participating in the highly-anticipated ETHDenver 2024 event to showcase the platform’s ability to issue, hold, and share digital credentials.

Cheqd will sponsor ATOMDenver and DoraHacks and participate in Frictionless side events during one of the largest annual conventions in the crypto industry.

Some activities that the Cheqd team will participate in during the event include panel discussions and developer workshops to showcase the ability of the Cheqd network, Creds, and Credential Service.

Cheqd is a privacy-focused payment and credential network that allows individuals and businesses to control their portable data.

Its payment infrastructure leverages Decentralized Identity (DID), Self-Sovereignty Identity (SSI), and Verifiable Credentials (VCs) for Trusted Data markets.

Cheqd’s participation at ETHDenver, which is taking place from February 23 to March 3, will have a significant impact on the project as it is one of the largest events in the Web3 industry.

ETHDenver attracts the participation of many players in the Web3 industry including Cosmos, the blockchain upon which the Cheqd project is created.

The event, sponsored by SporkDAO, seeks to build the status of Colorado and Denver as a top destination for Web3 developers, entrepreneurs, and startups. 

As a key sponsor of ATOMDenver, the Cheqd team will participate in several discussions.

One of the panel speakers during the event is the Cheqd CEO, Fraser Edwards, who will share thoughts on the topic: “A New Era of Gaming and Metaverse Identities.”

Cheqd’s Senior Product Manager, Ross Power, will also be a panel speaker on the topic: “Cosmos Governance: A Bug or a Feature.”

The Cheqd team will also share their ideas in two panels at Frictionless 2024 where they will also network with other experts, builders, and visionaries.

The team will participate in “IBC and DeFi: The Frontier of Possibility” and The Role of Privacy” topics at the event to give their decentralized view.

The networking sessions at the event will also be done through fun games and pizza.

During the ETHDenver 2024 event, Cheqd will showcase its innovation in using Web3 technology for verifiable credentials and self-sovereign identity at the DoraHacks Appchain Day.

Cheqd is the official sponsor for DoraHacks and it will also host its workshop session dubbed “From Code to Credibility: Decoding Trust, Growing Community, Building Reputation.”

This workshop will demonstrate the utility of Creds and Credential Services and it is open to all developers interested in a hands-on experience.

This Web3 event will also give Cheqd a chance to grow its privacy-focused payments and credential network.

The Trusted Data markets offered by Cheqd are a new offering in the Web3 industry.

It will focus on areas such as Know Your Customer (KYC), verifiable AI (vAI), preference data markets, and other offerings where a user is in more control of their data.

ETHDenver 2024 will also allow Cheqd to demonstrate the ability of its community growth platform known as Creds.

Creds will bring the Web2 and Web3 communities together by allowing users to build their reputation on the platform, lowering the risk of scams and sybil attacks.

Organizations can also use the Creds platform to garner community insights for informed and personalized experiences that will bolster community loyalty. Cheqd will also be among the 30 startups selected to participate in the Supermoon Startup Speed Dating Event where it will connect with investors and other innovators.
