Tron’s [TRX] BitTorrent among the crypto-market’s highest 24-hour gainers

Tron [TRX], the eleventh largest cryptocurrency on CoinMarketCap, saw a sudden surge in its price over the past day. This surge helped the coin recover from the fall it faced over the past few weeks. Along with Tron [TRX], BitTorrent [BTT] surged as well. This made the two coins register more growth, in terms of price, than most coins in the top 100.

Justin Sun, Chief Executive Officer of Tron and BitTorrent, informed the two communities of BTT reporting the second highest growth over the past 24 hours. The CEO tweeted,

“Another day, another good news for our #TRON and #BitTorrent community! Just today, according to @CoinMarketCap, $BTT hit the 2nd place with the highest price increase over the last 24 hours among the TOP100 #Cryptos by Market Capitalization! Way to go, #BTT!”

According to the picture attached by Sun, Tron [TRX] was sixth in terms of growth in price. However, at press time, Bitcoin SV’s pump overtook BitTorrent [BTT] in the second position. BSV noted a pump of 29.46%, followed by BTT with a rise of 27.80%.

Tron had also slipped to the eighth position. However, the token noted a rise of 21.99% over the past day, according to Binance Trading view chart. The price of the coin rose from $0.0270 to $0.0331. At press time, Tron was trading at $0.324 with a market cap of $2.16 billion. The 24-hour trading volume of the coin was $1.35 billion as it spiked by 15.32% over the past hour. Tron noted a 14.94% rise in its price as it broke September 2018’s resistance and was moving on to breach its next immediate resistance at o.41.
