Tron published its weekly update for the period running from Nov. 10th to Nov. 16th. The usual suspects – market transactions, activities in various Tron communities, and the work completed are the major highlights of the weekly update. Tron also received attention from Iranian media and co-hosted a boat party in Portugal for more than 200 people including blockchain industry leaders, enthusiasts, and special guests.

Tron has been doing very well since its MainNet launch on June 25th. The number of Tron MainNet transactions per day reached 1.36 million, double that of Ethereum, “surpassing Ethereum’s highest transaction volume recorded (1.34 million during [a] bull market).”

Tron went as far as claiming that:

“Ethereum’s transaction volume will never overtake Tron, and this marked the start of a new chapter in history.”

Data obtained from Tronscan shows that Tron’s block height exceeded 4 million and the total accounts registered almost reached 600,000.

Tron native currency, TRX, is now supported by Scatter which allows users to import their own TRX wallet to Scatter.

The technical team improved the design documentation of transaction priority and designed the light node plan. The team is still working on optimizing the logic of database refresh, anonymous transactions, and token functions.

The developer community revamped the API reference page of Developers’ documentation and added transaction signing guide. The page was visited by 12,000 people in a space of 7 days.

The Tron community released Snatch-Tron, a quality Dapp based on Tron’s smart contract. The Dapp is an interactive game that supports multiple players and is different from traditional games that mostly favor early arrivals over latecomers. Snatch-Tron allows latecomers to earn money by playing the game and not waiting for more people to join the game. Tron noted that “more than 200 million TRX have been transacted on TRONdice and TRONbet within just a month.”

Tron attended the Web Summit and spoke on “How Blockchain Technology Changes Consumer experience” and “How to Present and Distribute Content in the Next Era of Digital Content World.”

Tron is being acknowledged globally, and as a result, its founder Justin Sun’s Facebook followers have exceeded 2 million. Tron was on the move as it held a meetup with Team Tronics in New York and co-hosted a Boat Party in Lisbon, Portugal.

At the boat party, 15 teams shared their business ideas with investors while other participants gained a deeper understanding of the Tron blockchain platform and its vision.

Tron is gaining traction in Iran after it was mentioned several times in the Islamic nation’s media. The Iranian media recognized Tron as one of the best performing cryptocurrencies in the third week of October.
