Yesterday on October 3rd, Justin Sun – founder of the popular sync and share software for installing torrent files, BitTorrent and blockchain based company TRON – announced that uTorrent Web has broken the record of a million active users on a daily basis.

Justin Sun revealed the news on Twitter saying:

“uTorrent Web already surpassed 1,000,000 daily active users! This new product officially launched a month ago offers a #streaming and torrenting experience. ”

BitTorrent’s official Twitter also announced the news and stated:

“Proud to announce that our Web-based torrent #streaming client, µTorrent Web, surpassed 1,000,000 daily active users.
