Super Bowl LX is all set for this Sunday, when the Seattle Seahawks face the New England Patriots at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California. The Super Bowl remains the single biggest betting event of the year for U.S. sportsbooks, which will again take millions of dollars in wagers on game outcomes, player performance, and in-game proposition bets. The American Gaming Association projects that U.S. bettors will legally wager a record $1.76 billion on Super Bowl LX through state-regulated sportsbooks.
This year, however, putting money on the Super Bowl is no longer limited to sportsbooks. Federally-regulated prediction markets, through direct-to-consumer event contract trading platforms, crypto exchanges, and brokerage apps, are offering Super Bowl-related event contract trading that allow users to trade outcomes tied to the game, often in states where traditional sports betting remains illegal. As a result, more Americans than ever will be able to legally bet on the Super Bowl in some form, even in California.
Top prediction platforms offer variety of Super Bowl prop marketsThese sports prediction markets differ from sportsbook betting in a fundamental way. On prediction markets, users trade contracts with other traders or market makers who take the other side, rather than betting against odds set by a sportsbook, where you are wagering against the house. Instead of traditional sportsbook odds that factor in the vig or house take, prices reflect collective market sentiment. Prediction markets list a narrower set of event contracts, structured as binary Yes/No outcomes that can generally be bought and sold before and throughout the game.
Prediction market platforms have also reshaped what can be legally bet on. In many states, licensed sportsbooks are restricted to wagers tied directly to athletic performance and are generally barred from offering bets on non-athletic outcomes for the Super Bowl, such as commercials aired, broadcast mentions, celebrity appearances, and halftime show odds. Several prediction market platforms now offer event contracts related to those types of Super Bowl occurrences, filling gaps left by state sports betting laws.
Below is a look at some of the major prediction market platforms offering Super Bowl event contracts, the types of markets they list, and where those products are available by state. Readers can also compare prices across several platforms using DeFi Rate’s Super Bowl odds tracker.

That reach makes Kalshi one of the most reliable Super Bowl trading options for users in states without legal sports betting, as well as in states where sportsbooks are limited to on-field outcomes.
KalshiSuper Bowl props: Game and player props
Non-athletic SB props?: Yes
States available: All
Kalshi has an expansive menu of Super Bowl prediction markets available for trading. While it doesn’t have quite as many markets as the top U.S. sportsbooks, it is certainly the closest of all federally-regulated prediction platforms. Kalshi offers an extensive slate of prop trades, including player props for things like receiving yards, sacks, and touchdowns. There are also several markets for non-gameplay outcomes, like halftime show guests and song selection, which brands will have commercials, which celebrities will be at the game, and what the announcers will say during the broadcast.
Kalshi also lets users combine Super Bowl trades to create “combos,” which are like parlays at sportsbooks. Combos can only include Super Bowl markets related to on-field play (including player and game props), so you can’t add the off-field novelty props to them.
After several weeks in which Kalshi broke weekly trading volume records, with the Super Bowl markets in full swing, the exchange appears on track to shatter those records once again this week. It also continues to expand distribution as its markets are featured on more and more FCM partner sites. Sleeper App joined that list the Friday before the Big Game.
Polymarket USSuper Bowl props: None
Non-athletic SB props?: No
States available: None
Kalshi’s biggest worldwide competitor, Polymarket, also offers numerous Super Bowl markets, though a couple days out from the game, there were no player props listed (they did offer them in limited capacity for last year’s game). Polymarket Super Bowl contracts not seen at Kalshi include markets for the coin toss, length of the National Anthem, the color of the Gatorade that showers the winning coach at the end of the game, and whether Bad Bunny will wear a dress or skirt during the halftime show.
It’s important to note that Polymarket’s international platform, where those Super Bowl markets are found, is technically not accessible to U.S. users and is not regulated by the CFTC. The company soft-launched its new, CFTC-regulated U.S. app late last year. Despite so far only offering sports event contracts, Polymarket US didn’t launch a Super Bowl/NFL market until the week of the Big Game, and as of Friday, you can only trade on the game’s moneyline (who will win).
Super Bowl markets via sportsbook-linked exchanges
Top sportsbooks DraftKings, FanDuel and Fanatics launched prediction markets platforms late last year and offer Super Bowl markets in select states. The sports gaming companies are generally avoiding offering sports prediction markets in states in which they already offer their traditional sports betting products.
DraftKings PredictionsSuper Bowl props: Game and player props
Non-athletic SB props?: Yes
States available: Alabama, Alaska, California, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Idaho, Minnesota, Nebraska, New Mexico, North Dakota, Oklahoma, Rhode Island, South Carolina, South Dakota, Texas, and Utah
Outside of contracts for game winner, point totals and spreads, DraftKings Predictions’ Super Bowl markets were quite limited with only a few game props. That was until Friday, two days before the event when DraftKings added contracts via Crypto.com (so not just CME Group providing anymore). Before that, the platform only had markets facilitated by CME Group, which is the same exchange that provides similar Super Bowl markets to FanDuel Predicts.
Heading into Super Bowl, DraftKings Predictions now has a fairly extensive slate of player props for the game (touchdown scorers, rushing, passing, receiving yards) plus game props and off-field markets related to the halftime show. While the app’s event contracts are available in 38 states, only 17 have sports markets.
DK Predictions also has combos (parlays), but they are pre-built. The combos pair game winner, spread and total trades with select player props, which are limited to which player will score a touchdown. So you can, for example, trade a combo that includes Patriots to win, point total to exceed 45.5, and Stefon Diggs to score a TD, but you can’t create your own parlay combination.
Fanatics MarketsSuper Bowl props: Player props
Non-athletic SB props?: No
States available: Alabama, Alaska, California, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Idaho, Maine, Minnesota, Mississippi, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Mexico, North Dakota, Oklahoma, Oregon, Rhode Island, South Carolina, South Dakota, Texas, Utah, Washington, and Wisconsin
Fanatics beat DraftKings and FanDuel to the market last year with its Fanatics Markets app. With event contracts from Crypto.com, Fanatics Markets has a hearty selection of prediction markets, including ones for politics, economics, culture, weather, and sports. Unlike with the products from DraftKings and FanDuel, Fanatics Markets offers all of its markets in every state it launched.
Fanatics’ prediction platform has the same game winner/spread/totals trades found on FanDuel and DraftKings’ contract trading apps. Fanatics Markets also has a limited number of standalone player prop trades available, including anytime and first TD scorer, total rushing yards, and total passing yards. There are no game prop markets or markets for non-gameplay outcomes.
Super Bowl prediction markets at DFS giants Underdog, PrizePicksSome top daily fantasy sports operators have also entered the prediction market fray in recent months. PrizePicks and Underdog both offer sports event contracts, including Super Bowl markets, on their apps in select states via CFTC-approved partners.
Underdog PredictSuper Bowl props: Player props
Non-athletic SB props?: No
States available: Alabama, Alaska, Arkansas, California, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Idaho, Indiana, Kansas, Maine, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, New Mexico, North Carolina, North Dakota, Oklahoma, Oregon, Rhode Island, South Carolina, South Dakota, Texas, Utah, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, West Virginia, Wisconsin, and Wyoming
Underdog announced in September that it was partnering with Crypto.com to begin offering prediction markets, with a focus on sports event contracts across all major U.S. sports leagues. These markets are available in 31 states through the main Underdog app, which was the top downloaded sports app in Apple’s App Store the week of the Super Bowl.
Underdog’s market options for the Super Bowl resemble those at Fanatics Markets, as both use Crypto.com to facilitate their sports contracts. So you’ll find the same winner/spread/totals markets, as well as several player props, but no game props or markets for off-field outcomes.
PrizePicks PredictsSuper Bowl props: No on-field prop markets
Non-athletic SB props?: Yes
States available: Team Picks in Alaska, Alabama, Arkansas, California, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Idaho, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, Mississippi, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, North Carolina, North Dakota, Oklahoma, Oregon, Rhode Island, South Carolina, South Dakota, Texas, Utah, Virginia, Vermont, Washington, West Virginia, Wisconsin, and Wyoming; Culture Picks in all states except Arizona, Florida and Nevada
PrizePicks launched prediction markets powered by Kalshi in November and have steadily expanded into new states ever since. PrizePicks offers event contracts under its Team Picks (which offer markets for winner, spreads and totals) and Culture Picks banners.
Team Picks, which feature markets for the Super Bowl winner, spreads and totals, are now in 32 states, after PrizePicks announced this week that it had expanded into Indiana, Vermont, Wyoming, and Virginia. PrizePicks doesn’t offer player prop markets, as those are covered by the app’s DFS-style Player Picks.
PrizePicks takes a unique approach to non-athletic Super Bowl prop trades, featuring them in their Culture Picks, which are available in 47 states. That means that, while you can’t trade on things like the Super Bowl winner in 18 states, in all but three you can trade on game-adjacent markets like what the announcers will say during the broadcast, which celebrities will attend the game, and which songs will be performed by Bad Bunny during halftime.
Brokerage apps enter the Super Bowl prediction partyPopular digital retail brokers Robinhood and Webull have found success in offering prediction markets for a wide range of outcomes, including from the worlds of economics, crypto, culture, and sports, directly through their apps. Both platforms currently carry markets powered by Kalshi in most states.
RobinhoodSuper Bowl props: Game and player props
Non-athletic SB props?: Yes
States available: All but New Jersey, Maryland and Nevada
Robinhood doesn’t have every Kalshi market related to the Super Bowl, but it does have a lot of trading options for the big game. The “Big Game” section in the platform’s predictions hub includes the usual winner/spread/totals markets, as well as numerous game props, including things like winning margin, highest scoring quarter, number of touchdowns, and whether or not there will be a non-QB passing attempt. There are limited player props, including markets for who will be named Super Bowl MVP and who will have the most rushing and receiving yards.
For non-athletic Super Bowl markets, Robinhood has contracts for commercials and halftime show occurrences in its “Big Game Events” section, but doesn’t have a mention market for the game broadcast.
WebullSuper Bowl props: Game and player props
Non-athletic SB props?: Yes
States available: All
In order to drive users to its Kalshi prediction markets, online brokerage Webull announced last week that it was dropping commission charges (exchange fees still apply) for all of its Super Bowl-related markets.
Webull’s Super Bowl prediction markets are very similar to what’s available at Robinhood, but with a few more player props, including for passing touchdowns and number of receptions. Beyond that, there are similar game props and most of the same markets for game-adjacent outcomes, though no market for Super Bowl commercial advertisers was available.
Webull has been offering pre-built combos for some sporting events. For the Super Bowl, a few days before the game, there was a single combo market that combined a game-winner contract trade with a point total one.
Crypto exchanges featuring Super Bowl prediction marketsA handful of top crypto exchanges, in an effort to become more comprehensive “everything” financial platforms, have added prediction markets to their offerings in the past year. Crypto.com and Coinbase both have markets for Super Bowl LX. Another exchange, Gemini, received CFTC approval to create and offer prediction markets last year and launched event contract trading for outcomes in the worlds of economics, politics, crypto, and sports in December. But a few days out from the Super Bowl, Gemini was only offering a single market related to the game, one for who would win the championship matchup.
Crypto.com/OG.comSuper Bowl props: Game and player props
Non-athletic SB props?: Yes
States available: All but New York
Crypto.com was one of the first CFTC-regulated platforms to offer sports event contract trading, adding sports to their menu of prediction markets in late 2024. The company has its own CFTC-approved exchange, Crypto.com | Derivatives North America, which also provides its prediction markets to other platforms, like Fanatics Markets and Underdog.
Besides offering an extensive array of Super Bowl markets through its primary app, the week of the Super Bowl, Crypto.com launched a stand-alone prediction app called OG.com.
Crypto.com and OG prediction markets offer a huge selection of Super Bowl prop markets, including a wide array of game/scoring props and player props, including for passing, receiving, and rushing yards and first and anytime touchdown scorers. Under the “Big Game” tab, you’ll also find numerous novelty Super Bowl props for things like the length of the National Anthem, the “Gatorade Shower Color,” and a trio of coin toss markets.
CoinbaseSuper Bowl props: Game and player props
Non-athletic SB props?: Yes
States available: All
Late last year, Coinbase announced it was adding several new products to its app, including prediction markets powered by Kalshi. Last week, the company announced that the markets — including sports event contracts — were live in all 50 states under the “Predict” tab in the app and on the website.
Coinbase’s Super Bowl markets cover the full spectrum of “Big Game” outcomes, including several player prop markets and game props for things like when the first touchdown will be scored, how many successful 2-point conversions there will be, and which quarter will see the most scoring.
For non-athletic Super Bowl props, Coinbase has markets for halftime show outcomes, celebrity attendance, brands with commercials during the game, and what the announcers will say during the broadcast.
Which prediction platform is best for Super Bowl trading? For traders prioritizing market depth and variety, Kalshi and Crypto.com/OG.com offer the most comprehensive Super Bowl trading experiences, with extensive game props, player props, and non-athletic (off-the-field) markets all in one place. Kalshi edges ahead on accessibility, available in all 50 states, while Crypto.com is blocked in New York.
If you’re specifically interested in Super Bowl-adjacent markets like halftime show performances, celebrity sightings, and broadcast mentions, Kalshi, Crypto.com, and PrizePicks Culture Picks are your best options. PrizePicks takes a unique approach, offering its Culture Picks in 47 states — making it the widest reach for novelty props even in states where its Team Picks sports markets aren’t available.
For users in states without legal sports betting who want a familiar interface, the brokerage apps Robinhood, Webull, and Coinbase provide solid Kalshi-powered options without requiring a new account on a dedicated prediction platform. Webull’s decision to drop commissions for Super Bowl markets makes it a cost-conscious choice this week.
Traders looking for player prop depth will find the most options on Kalshi, Crypto.com, and the platforms they power. The CME Group-backed FanDuel lags behind, with player props largely locked into pre-built combos rather than standalone trades. But DraftKings Predictions expanded its prop offerings going into Super Bowl weekend. The legal options for Super Bowl betting have never been more vast, even in states like California and Texas where legal sports betting is still not allowed.
