Spend Wallet is available cold wallet for consumers to store their cryptocurrency apart from an exchange. Recently, the app has been working to make the existing products they offer better for customers, while adding new technical features and making themselves available for additional coins.
The latest version, V.2.3.1, has officially released on iOS, making it available through the App Store.
In a Medium post today, the company announced that there were many bugs that the update corrects, which is going to make it work much more effectively for wallet holders. The post also announces the addition of support for the Binance Coin, which means it can now be held in the wallets.
During the update, the company has a new security feature that is becoming more common amongst wallets and exchanges – 2-factor authentication. Considering that the platform has support of banks in 100 countries, the 2FA security feature will make it easy to initiate USD wire deposits to their own fiat accounts. It also works in reverse, letting them add US dollars to the Spend Wallet in a wire transfer.
Along with the support for the Binance Coin, recent reports from U.Today shows that they also offer Tron (TRX) and Dash support on the wallet, along with EOS. In a tweet from the CEO of Binance, Changpeng Zhao, he announced their recent integration.
Zhao tweeted,
What's more awesome about this is:
I asked my team to initiate contact with @SpendCard (cause I saw them in a tweet), then 20 hours later, they integrated $BNB and tweeted it out. Crypto speed!
It's spreading. https://t.co/qq2NGhjxVB
