Ripple's Swell Conference Keynote: Courtesy of former Democratic President, Bill Clinton
Prominent, broadly famous names are often hard to come by when it comes to speaking at conferences on behalf of cryptocurrency, that's especially true for the lesser-known cryptos like Ripple.
We're thrilled to announce @BillClinton as keynote speaker for this year’s #SwellbyRipple. For more details: https://t.co/KYQgI4YrWv pic.twitter.com/XSo46T2s3d

It would seem as though Ripple have struck gold with the now keynote speaker for their Swell Conference: It's none other than the 42nd President of the United States, Bill Clinton.
The former president will be leading the conference with a keynote, while also providing the time afterwards for a Q&A session with the audience. The Q&A session will also be moderated by Gene Sperling, National Economic Council Director and Advisor under Presidents Clinton and Obama.
This news is according to a press release brought forward by Ripple in late July, with the Swell Conference taking place in San Francisco from the 1st to 2nd of October.
The press release also included:
“These learnings are perhaps more relevant now than ever before. Like the Internet boom of the 90's, we are at an impasse: digital assets and blockchain technology offer a way for value to be exchanged as quickly as information – creating more financial inclusion and economic opportunity. However, with this new technology comes potential for concern, requiring thoughtful policy to protect consumers from risk without hampering innovation.”
Along with the Keynote, the Swell Conference will also consist of:
