An NFT collection merging physical and digital realms to create an ecosystem that fosters inclusiveness and freedom of expression, is taking mental health awareness to new heights.

Fusing art and utility, The Humanians is conceived as a force for good that embraces body positivity, delivering real value to its holders and community.

The socially conscious project sees NFT agency Odd One Out Labs partner with renowned artist VISBII (whose works have been featured in The Guardian, Vogue, Wall Street Journal and GQ) to create playful illustrations characterized by their unique, vibrant proportions. 

Embracing all human shapes and forms without judgment, The Humanians community highlights “the awesomeness of all people, helping to end prejudice, alienation, insecurities and Body Dysmorphia.” Each NFT counters against unrealistic body standards often endorsed by social media and advertising that are contributing to a growing global mental health crisis, providing narrow definitions of what is considered “beautiful” or “acceptable”. Championing our differences, The Humanians’ NFT collection encourages their community of holders to be comfortable in their own skin. With a percentage of primary and secondary sales going to charity partnerships – The largest single donations ever raised for the Body Dysmorphic Disorder Foundation and the Be Well Collective was proudly handed over by The Humanians in early June 2022.

How you can get involved with The Humanians

With the aim of building a community that makes an impact in both the physical and digital realms, The Humanians has partnered with mental health professionals and foundations worldwide to raise awareness around body dysmorphia and other mental health causes of the community’s choosing. Each NFT sold supports two leading charities: The Body Dysmorphic Disorder Foundation and The Be Well Collective (which supports mental health in the creative sector). 

20% of these sales have already been donated following a first sold-out collection, but interested collectors can still buy on OpenSea, with each month or quarter 20% of these secondary sale royalties are donated to the community’s chosen charity. 

What’s next for The Humanians? 

Having minted in May 2022, development has now begun on a staking marketplace where you can earn tokens staking a Humanian NFT and also creating a Universe of Humania: a metaverse where community members can connect through events, activities, zen zones, wellness activities, games, and much more.
