Dish, is one of the leading satellite television providers in the United States. They provide TV broadcasting services to around 13. 7 million customers and internet connection services to around 580 customers.

With an estimated revenue of $14. 391 billion in 2017, they can be considered a major play in the satellite TV industry.

In 2014, Dish made a stunning move which saw the company start to accept Bitcoin payments form their customers. This was indeed one of the first examples of mass Bitcoin adoption that gave a large number of people access to a cryptocurrency based payment option.
