It looks like EOS is beating Tron in its mission to rule the decentralized application (dapp) ecosystem. A new report from Weiss Ratings proves that EOS is, in fact, beating the competitor now, which is mainly going after Ethereum, the third largest cryptocurrency in the world by market cap and the most relevant player so far.
In terms of network growth, Tron is set to beat Ethereum, which is facing some stagnation, but when it comes to dapps, EOS is clearly outperforming its nearest competition.
Now, Weiss Ratings has tweeted that an EOS dapp called Dice is beating TronBet by 60% in volume and 30% in transactions and affirmed that EOS is way ahead, at least in the betting dapp industry.
#EOS has a #dApp called Dice, and it’s beating another dApp, #TronBet by about 60% in volume and 30% in transactions. People shilling #TRON need to understand that EOS is still way ahead.

Also, according to data that was provided by Dapp Radar, EOS’s Candy Box is the top app being used now, while both EOS and Tron are fighting hard for their space. Among the top 10, Tron has six positions and EOS has only four, but it has the first place and it dominates when you consider the top 50, with 25 dapps while Tron only has 22. Ethereum has just 2 apps on the list.
This shows that the decline in the Ethereum network is visible. ETH was once the king od dapps but this was back in 2017 and now some other companies are fiercely taking its place in the stage.
When we compare volume in the last 24 hours, Tron is also at the top and EOS is in second, but Dice is still way ahead of TRONbet. Also, eight dapps from EOS are in the top 10 and only two from Tron when only looking at the last 24 hours.
The Gambler TrendAs you may have already perceived, the most important of EOS is a gambling app. In fact, gamblers are basically taking over now. From all the money transacted on the EOS blockchain via dapps, 70% was spent on gambling, while Tron has seen 95% of its dapp transactions be focused on this area.
The trend is quite clear and it shows that this industry will soon take over the dapps if other ones do not decide to start upgrading their game. In fact, crypto betting was one of the few industries that were not so affected by the bear market.
Is ETH Dead? EOS Is The King NowEOS has basically become the company in charge of the dapp market now. With Ethereum out of the way now, as the network decides to focus on other areas, EOS and Tron have become the two most important players.
In only eight months, EOS has basically taken over Ethereum’s place and holds most of the volume now. In fact, there is even a chance that we may see EOS topping ETH in the future as the cryptocurrency is currently the 4th largest one in the market with a cap of $2.17 billion USD and a price of $2.40 USD per token.
