Ethereum Wallet Imtoken Unveils a New Wallet

ImToken is announcing the release of imToken 2.0, the next generation of digital wallets for a fully decentralized ecosystem.

This Ethereum wallet supports a wide range of tokens numbering to 30,000. Moreover, the company announced a venture fund to support DApps development on the network

This development comes in close proximity to the $10 million Series A investment made by IDG. The imToken 2.0 is a critical upgrade that furthers imToken’s vision to set up a completely decentralized ecosystem that will have all kinds of products and services.

The CEO of imToken stated,

“We believe that the future of blockchain technology lies in complete decentralization and it’s an approach that we will fully invest in……We believe the initiatives announced today for imToken 2.0 is the roadmap for a fully decentralized ecosystem that we believe will set the tone for the industry and that users will get behind.”

ImToken is also introducing new features like a multi-chain wallet, DApp Browser and also updates to the decentralized ecosystem. All these will be fundamental to the company’s continual evolution.

Additionally, the company has introduced DApp browser and imToken Venture. The latter is the company’s venture arm to facilitate funding of DApp development. Moreover, there are new features in in Tokenlon, which is imToken’s decentralized exchange.

All this has translated to an impressive 5 million monthly active users in 200 countries. To illustrate this, imToken announced it has overseen $45 billion in pass-through transactions during the months between January last year and June 2018. These figures match those of PayPal’s Venmo yearly volumes.

The imToken 2.0 browser is useful because it supports the most prominent dApps and decentralized exchanges. Additionally, the new browser introduces a brand new engagement channel that customers can use.

Moreover, there is the added functionality which makes users able to access multiple dApps without having to log in and also the browser permitting fast payments using the supported token a user desires. As a result, qualified users receive all the support they need from the app. The support is in the form of displaying their dApps in the new browser and instantly getting exposure to millions of users.

What’s more? TokenIon, which is the browser’s decentralized exchange, offers a couple of unique trading functions. This means that users can utilize the different trading functions for their varying needs and circumstances.
