Sulake, the social entertainment company, has selected leading ETH L2 solution Immutable X to boost the full NFT experience for its half a million-strong monthly active Habbo users across the globe, Invezz learned from a press release.

Immutable X will enable Habbo to implement its Web3 vision with gas-free NFT trading and minting. It will also allow its community members worldwide to achieve a deeper social connection at scale.

Habbo, which Sulake founded in 2000, has found sustainable success through its extensive library of content (furniture and items), complex building system, highly engaged community of players across the globe, and world-class moderation system.

Habbo will combine entertainment with Immutable X’s cutting-edge blockchain technology solutions to become fully Web3 compatible. The NFT platform dropped more than 10,000 randomly generated avatar NFTs in September 2021. They sold out within 26 hours.
