Bitcoin.com, a digital ecosystem and secure self-custody platform where users can safely and easily interact with cryptocurrencies and digital assets, has launched its new utility and reward token called VERSE. The public sale of the new token is currently open after successful Sale A and Sale B private sales. The public sale has been ongoing since November 1 and is scheduled to close five days from now.

What is VERSE Token?

VERSE is designed as a utility and rewards token for the Bitcoin.com ecosystem participants. The token will support those onboarding into DeFi and Bitcoin by rewarding them for buying, selling, using, storing, and learning about cryptocurrencies on Bitcoi.com.

Bitcoin.com has been a leader in onboarding beginners to crypto since 2015 and it currently has over 34 million wallets and over 5 million monthly active users. It provides users with a digital ecosystem where they can interact with cryptocurrencies and also securely store their digital assets.

To be specific, the rewards will be allocated for staking VERSE, paying cashback using VERSE, using the VERSE token as collateral in various lending pools, and interacting with the Verse DEX. Bitcoin.com also plans to release airdrops to spread the word about the new VERSE token and entice current users as well as new users to be more involved in DeFi.

How to buy the VERSE token

To buy the new VERSE token during the public sale, simply visit the official Verse website, click on the ‘Buy VERSE now’ button at the top right corner and complete the sign-in process. You can then go ahead and select a payment method, connect your Ethereum wallet to which the purchased VERSE tokens will be sent, and follow the prompts to make your payment.

The minimum amount of VERSE tokens that you can purchase per payment is tokens worth $500 USD.

Bitcoin.com plans to list VERSE as VERSE/ETH pair on the Verse DEX after the public sale. and the listing price will be determined after the conclusion of the Public Sale using the Weighted Average Price for all prior VERSE Token Sales.
