CoinMarketCap has long been the place where everyone, anywhere in the world, could find the price and other data about any cryptoasset. In the spirit of CoinMarketCap’s goal of sharing crypto data and supporting the crypto revolution, today we have launched our “How to Buy Bitcoin” ranking and guide for those just getting interested in the crypto industry.
While crypto veterans already have their favorite exchange of choice, for someone buying cryptocurrency for the first time, the sheer number of exchanges out there may be overwhelming.
On CoinMarketCap’s “How to Buy Bitcoin” product, we have decided to create a guide and ranking for how to buy Bitcoin specifically, as it is the first, and largest, cryptoasset in circulation today.
Once you land on our “How to Buy Bitcoin” product, you’ll see a table ranking familiar to those that know our cryptoranking homepage. However, here you see a list of exchanges, where they are based, whether or not they are regulated, and when they were founded.
Most importantly, you can also see which types of payment methods they accept for both deposits and withdrawal and their trading commissions — as well as their current price of Bitcoin.
For those just entering the space, it’s important to do your own research about which crypto exchange and payment methods are right for you. CoinMarketCap’s “How to Buy Bitcoin” guide can help by laying out all of the information about a list of exchanges, all in one place.
Over time, CoinMarketCap plans to add more exchanges and more cryptoassets to our new “How to Buy Bitcoin” list — keep checking the product for more!
