Kevin Connolly, a popular actor that became famous when it was part of the ‘Entourage’ show back in the 2000s would be part of a new TV project known as ‘Cryptos.’ The information was released by Breaker magazine on January 18.

According to it, Kevin Connolly surprised everyone a the North American Bitcoin Conference in Miami, where he announced his involvement with this ‘Cryptos’ TV project. When he was working at ‘Entourage’, he played as Eric Murphy.

During a conversation with Breaker, he commented about this possibility:

“The thing that scares people about crypto is a lack of understanding. People like myself are still learning, but the curiosity is there.”

Cryptos focuses on a small group of friends that are trying to work on the cutthroat industry. However, as they do not have the financial means to do that they’ve decided to launch a token and decentralized film studio. The intention is to revolutionize the studio industry.

Initial Coin Offerings (ICOs) have experienced a very positive year in 2017 and the beginning of 2018. However, during the second half of 2018, the number of projects started to decrease. Most of these ICOs were scams or were not able to keep their promises in the market. Eventually, they’ve disappeared.

Jason King and Erik Sords have joined the initiative as the producers. Both of them are supporters of blockchain technology. Indeed, Mr. King co-founded the token-funded Academy School of Blockchain and is considered a ‘humanitarian hacker.’

Connolly explained that the producers want to bring cryptocurrencies to the masses, and he wants to show that with friendships and good relationships. This would be a great idea to attract new viewers. According to Connolly, Miami was the first direct interaction with the cryptocurrency world and he was ready to learn more about the industry.

Apparently, the intention is to release the first 10 episodes and being picked up by Netflix, Amazon Prime and other platforms. The Miami event was the first time the team showed this to the crypto community, waiting for a positive response from the industry.
