Exclusible and Criptonite team up for world’s first digital real estate meta-fund

Luxury NFTs platform Exclusible and Swiss wealth management firm Criptonite have teamed up to announce a major investment fund in the digital real estate space.

The Criptonite Metaverse Real Estate AMC (Actively Managed Certificate) is the first such fund in the world, and comes after the two firms penned an exclusive partnership announced on Monday.

You don’t need to be a ‘geek’ to benefit

According to the firms, the meta-fund is tailored for investors looking to diversify their investment portfolios via metaverse properties.

The fund is also for those interested in the metaverse ecosystem but don’t have the knowledge of how to acquire land or develop the properties. The meta-fund thus seeks to offer this group of investors “direct exposure” to the opportunities in the highly attractive space, the companies said in a press release.

Exclusible co-founder Romain Girbal said in a statement:

We are confident that our curation of luxury digital real estate will give new and crypto-savvy investors alike the confidence they need to take their first steps into the metaverse. Thanks to this AMC, you don’t need to be a ‘geek’ to invest in the metaverse.

Criptonite CEO and founder Florian Rais said the venture is set to meet the demand for investment opportunities from traditional investors whose interest in crypto has accelerated over the past few years.

Combining Exclusible’s high-quality luxury metaverse real estate, projects, and experiences with Criptonite’s seasoned experience in crypto investment allows us to bring this very unique investment product to qualified investors. 

Invest in projects in Decentraland and Sandbox

According to the Exclusible team, Geneva-based Criptonite will oversee the meta-fund’s management while Exclusible will look to offer access to luxury real estate in the digital space.  The partners believe the meta-fund provides investors what they really need – access to real estate properties on some of the leading metaverse projects.

Here we are talking about limited real estate plots and other luxury properties in The Sandbox (SAND), Decentraland (MANA) and NFT Worlds metaverses.

To officially launch the fund, the firms have organised a metaverse party in Decentraland. It’s a two-hour event that will feature live music, and see partygoers get personalized NFT wearables.
