eToro is excited to announce that the Sandbox (SAND/USD) has arrived on its investment platform. The Sandbox is a virtual metaverse world that combines blockchain technology with gaming. SAND is the native token of The Sandbox. Players can earn SAND through games and contests, and buy and sell virtual goods with the token in the Sandbox Marketplace.

At the moment, SAND is the crypto that offers the absolute and relative greatest momentum when it comes to NFTs. According to an analysis by eToro, its absolute momentum indicates a positive return over a certain period of time. Its relative momentum indicates a higher return than other cryptocurrencies in comparison.

Dual momentum strategy

To apply this strategy, you can go to CoinMarketCap and choose the category of crypto you are interested in, in this case Non Fungible Token (NFT). Then, you get the top 5 most capitalized cryptocurrencies. Take the trends of the coins over the past 7, 30, 60, 90 days and average them. Invest in the currency that has the highest average gain (relative momentum) if and only if it is positive (absolute momentum).

Repeat this process for the other categories as well. These include DeFi, metaverse, decentralized exchange and smart contracts. You will have the 5 largest capitalization coins of the various categories that have the highest dual momentum, eToro advises.

Invest with caution

Remember that things about crypto change fast, so be sure to re-do the math on a monthly, if not weekly basis. Remember that you are investing in cryptocurrencies that have risen the most and will move fast, so they will likely have higher volatility than other currencies, so make sure you have a balanced portfolio unless you don’t mind high risk.

This can be an excellent satellite strategy for your portfolio as part of a larger and more diversified one. Of course, it depends on the individual investor and their risk tolerance.
