Cryptocurrency market experts from CryptoRank have published statistics in the industry over the past day, according to information relevant on the morning of December 9, 2022. They noted: the capitalization of all virtual currencies has added 2.14% over the past day and reached $906 billion. At the same time, the level of dominance of the flagship digital asset bitcoin (BTC) demonstrated 36.55%.

The virtual gold exchange rate was fixed above the key support level at $ 17,000, as traders aimed for further growth of quotations. CryptoRank data again showed a decrease in the overall level of BTC volatility after reaching $17,300.

Analysts noted that among the top 10 cryptocurrencies in terms of maximum capitalization, Ethereum (+4.23%), Polygon (+3.67%) and BNB (+2.25%) were traded in the green zone. An important indicator of the Fear & Greed Index increased by 1 point and reached the level of 26, which meant that investors and traders were afraid of the market.

The leader of the day in terms of value growth was the Cortex cryptocurrency (CTXC), whose quotes jumped as much as 139%. The price of the virtual asset was fixed at $0.218 with a capitalization of $44.6 million. The second place went to the digital token Revolution Populi (RVP), which has risen in price exactly 2 times over the past 24 hours. Its cost was $0.026, and the total offer was $31.4 million.

Finally, WEMIX (WEMIX) demonstrated a good result. The rate of this cryptocurrency increased by 73.8%. It was available for purchase at an average cost of $0.297, and the capitalization jumped to $72.8 million. The most unprofitable virtual currencies for the day were Tokocrypto (TKO) -19%, Bxmi (BXMI) -18.5% and Celsius (CEL) -9.64%

As for BTC futures, the total volume over the past day was $17.1 billion, and the total open interest was $7.88 billion.
