Crypto.com Launches Italian Version of Mobile App and Exchange

Crypto.com has introduced an Italian language version of its popular App and Exchange. The news follows recent launches for the Spanish, French, and Korean markets and opens Crypto.com up to another key demographic.

With Italian being the second most widely-spoken native language in the European Union, and the total number of Italian speakers worldwide believed to be around 85 million, the release marks another milestone for Crypto.com, whose ambition is to accelerate wider adoption of cryptocurrency. At present, users can purchase cryptocurrency using a credit card without incurring a fee with 70+ digital currencies supported.

Mariana Gospodinova, Crypto.com’s Europe GM, said:

“It gives us a great deal of satisfaction to answer the call of our Italian users, who have been petitioning us to release a dedicated Italian language app for some time now. Having already released native apps for France and Spain, it made sense to follow with Italy, which is one of the world’s largest economies. There is also a great appetite for cryptocurrency in the region, evidenced by the fact that a major Italian bank launched a bitcoin trading service earlier this year.”

Italian language versions of both the Crypto.com App and Crypto.com Exchange are available immediately and can be accessed as follows:

Crypto.com App: Select “Italian” in Settings -> LanguageCrypto.com Exchange: Select “Italian” on the top right corner

Crypto.com will provide community support via its dedicated Korean-language Telegram channel.

It’s 2019 and Google still can’t keep malware out of its Android app store

Google appears to have a problem with stopping malicious apps from sneaking into the Play Store.
