CEX.IO Has Just Confirmed The Support For The Ethereum Constantinople Fork

One of the London based crypto exchanges referred to as CEX.IO has just gone ahead to announce that it will be supporting the Constantinople hard fork that is made for the Ethereum. At the moment the firm is making the necessary technical adjustments that will be able to enable the support need for the Constantinople upgrade.

The fork has been a significant factor that has been part of the Ethereum roadmap for an extended period, one that has already been set to occur at a decided block height that should be of about 7,080,000. This particular block is expected to be achieved at between the 14th and 18th of January this year.

Just before the upgrade takes place, the CEX.IO will be stopping all the deposits and withdraws that are made in ETH. It is just to ensure that the customer's funds are kept secure, but once the upgrade is completed all the ETH holders will be able to quickly resume with their trading of the coins on the exchanges just as before, but now on a better working system.

Constantinople has been considered to be among the highly anticipated hard forks that you can find on the Ethereum; this is according to a report done by the Finance Magnates. It has been designed as a system-wide upgrade that was actually endorsed last year in August.

There Are Improvements That We Need To Look Out For

The fork will be able to implement about five different Ethereum Improvement Proposals, which has been referred to as EIPS, one that will be able to alter the current blockchain and have a couple of new backward incompatible upgrades. What this means is that the network of computers that are able to run the Ethereum software will have two options, either to simply update or they will be forced to run independently.

The chief producer of the CEX.IO, Elaine Neal went on to say that the platform has more than 2.7 million users, and thus, this has made the company work in the proper development of services and products that will enable them to maintain the trust they have gathered from there users who are spread across the globe.

With the products they have developed they are sure it is able to bring the best value for their users, this is by ensuring they have provided an effective and simple solution that is able to meet their current financial needs.

The Exchange Has Pledged Support For The Constantinople Hard Fork

In the event that the chain would split the CEX.IO has been able to confirm that all of their current users who might be having some ETH balance in their account at the time that the fork takes place, then they will receive some new coins immediately.

CEX.IO together with other crypto exchanges in the market, this is the likes of Huobi Global, Bitbox, OKEx and Binance have all gone ahead to pledge their current support of the Constantinople hard fork.
