Asia Economy To Air Blockbattle –A Blockchain Survival Show
On October 19th, a blockchain survival known as ‘Blockbattle – Who’s the Next Satoshi’ show will premiere on Asia Economy TV. The program will feature an array of blockchain developers sourced from several parts of the world. The teams will showcase their projects to viewers of the Blockbattle show, after which they will be subjected to a voting process to determine the winner. Notably, the voting will be done by viewers in real-time.
The success of Bitcoin has impelled a wave of innovativeness around blockchain technology. From peer-to-peer connections, digital currencies, elimination of intermediaries, and the introduction of smart contracts, distributed ledger technology has certainly contributed massively to the global economy. Asia Economy TV has decided to follow suit by launching the Blockbattle TV show in a bid to nurture upcoming blockchain innovators.to participate in this program, startups are required to submit their application on the broadcaster's website before the September 5th deadline.
The Blockbattle panel of judges will consist of blockchain experts from the Open Blockchain Association, the Korea Blockchain Association, Korea University, Korean Blockchain Industry Association, and the Dongguk University. Notable individuals who will adjudicate include Roger Ver from Bictoin.com, Rayol Hwang of Hillstone partners and many others. The role of the judges will be to identify the ten most promising projects during the preliminary phase. The selected projects will proceed to the finals and will be granted access to mentorship lessons from professionals from the fields of law, finance, technology, business, and marketing.
Blockchain Shows On The RiseOver the past two years, there has been a proliferation of TV shows discussing virtual currencies and blockchain technology. Next week, CNBC will start airing a documentary called ‘Bitcoin: Boom or Bust.' Japan's Tokyo MX TV has a show called ‘Bitgirls', in which viewers use digital currencies to vote. Sony Pictures Television also has a crypto show of their own, which has already confirmed the release of an upcoming third season.
The premiere episode of the Blockbattle show will available to Asia Economy TV viewers in Korea, Taiwan, Singapore, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Australia, China, Vietnam, and Thailand. Moreover, crypto enthusiasts located in other parts of the world can stream the program on YouTube via the Coincast channel. As mentioned earlier voting will be done in real-time, allowing viewers to vote for their favorite projects. The votes will be counted during the final episode of the show, scheduled to run on November 19th.
