Bitcoin Revolution Shark Tank Scam: Richard Branson, Mark Cuban, Kevin O’Leary Trading Software Hoax

Bitcoin Revolution Has Never Actually Appeared on Shark Tank

Over the last few months, we’ve seen growing advertisements for a crypto product called Bitcoin Revolution. The company is advertising the product by claiming it was featured on the popular TV show Shark Tank.

In reality, the Bitcoin Revolution has never appeared on Shark Tank. The company is deliberately misleading customers to make it seem like they have been on Shark Tank. In reality, the product is a complete scam designed to take your phone number, email address, and physical address before selling that information to scammers.

The Bitcoin Revolution scam first appeared online in summer 2018. Within days, the product was widely called out for being a complete scam.

Bitcoin Revolution has been a well-known scam for months. Despite this fact, however, Bitcoin Revolution continues to draw in new victims every day.

How Does Bitcoin Revolution Work?

Bitcoin Revolution’s premise is based on a scam from the very first sentence. The company claims to have developed trading software that delivers trading signals with 99.4% accuracy. Amazingly, the company even claims its software is:

“0.01 seconds ahead of normal markets”.

By following the investment advice provided by the trading software, you can get rich quick. The software will tell you when to sell cryptocurrencies at high prices and when to buy cryptocurrencies at low prices. With an accuracy rating of 99.4%, you cannot go wrong with Bitcoin Revolution.

Obviously, if someone had actually developed a proprietary trading software with these types of capabilities, they would most likely keep it to themselves. Bitcoin Revolution, however, continues to lure in gullible investors who want to get rich quick from cryptocurrencies.

Bitcoin Revolution Has Plenty of Problematic Marketing Strategies

Since it first appeared online in summer 2018, Bitcoin Revolution has been called out for its shady marketing tactics.

The company has launched a number of websites where traders claim to have got rich quick by using the mysterious Bitcoin Revolution trading software, for example. The creators of the software have also used videos and images of celebrities without their consent to promote the scam. This practice has become so widespread that a number of celebrities have been forced to publicly state that they are not affiliated with the service.

Another problematic part of Bitcoin Revolution’s marketing is its bold accuracy and timeliness claims: the company claims that its trading signals are accurate 99.4% of the time while also being 0.01 seconds ahead of normal markets. Obviously, even the world’s best hedge funds and money managers aren’t accurate 99.4% of the time, and it’s unclear how trading signals could be “0.01 seconds ahead” of the market.

In recent months, Bitcoin Revolution has adopted a new sleazy marketing tactic: the scammy bitcoin software claims to have been featured on Shark Tank.

Bitcoin Revolution Has Never Appeared on Shark Tank

ABC’s Shark Tank is a popular television show currently in its 10th season. The show features entrepreneurs pitching their businesses to potential investors – the “sharks”. Over the years, these “Sharks” have included Kevin O’Leary, Daymond John, Barbara Corcoran, Mark Cuban, and Ashton Kutcher. Although many of these names have some sort of ties (mentions or investments) they are not associated with this product.

Many businesses have found success after Shark Tank. These businesses, after being featured on Shark Tank, often experience a Shark Tank boost: when the episode airs, the business gets a surge of traffic to its website as customers rush to learn more about the exciting product.

Businesses that are featured on Shark Tank will often post images on their website explaining their affiliation with the show. You’ll see banners or logos saying, “As Seen on Shark Tank”, for example. It alerts potential customers that the product they’re viewing is the one they legitimately saw on Shark Tank.

That’s all fine for legitimate businesses. Unfortunately, Bitcoin Revolution isn’t a legitimate business: it’s a scam. That’s why it’s not surprising to find the company advertising itself as having been featured on Shark Tank.

Numerous online advertisements for Bitcoin Revolution have featured statements saying things like, “As Featured on Shark Tank”, or “As Seen on Shark Tank”. Potential victims are led to believe that Bitcoin Revolution is legit: after all, it was featured on Shark Tank.

In reality, Bitcoin Revolution is blatantly scamming users with false claims of being featured on Shark Tank. Bitcoin Revolution has never had anything to do with Shark Tank or any other television show, and the scammy software has certainly never made an appearance on an episode or season of the popular show.

The Shark Tank Bitcoin Revolution Scam Continues in 2019

The Bitcoin Revolution scam has continued to market itself to gullible investors in 2019. This past month, various articles have appeared online promoting Bitcoin Revolution as a Shark Tank-endorsed product.

These articles come with a conspiratorial tone, suggesting that the investors on Shark Tank have made a “secret” investment in an “exciting new trading software”. Some articles claim that the “Sharks” invested over $2.5 million into the software after engaging in a bidding war:

“Is Glen Richards in hot water after revealing a top-secret investment the Shark Tank panel recently made? Sources say that in an unaired episode, two best friends presented the bitcoin trading program that they created and landed an insane deal.”

The article adds that the software “was so impressive that all five judges actually fought over who would make a deal”.

“Things got so heated, producers ultimately decided not to air the episode.”

Obviously, this is all completely fabricated. Bitcoin Revolution’s creators are once again trying to scam gullible investors online. There’s no secret Shark Tank episode for Bitcoin Revolution.

Dr. Glen Richards, meanwhile, is an investor on the Australian version of Shark Tank. The well-known pet care company founder is known for getting in heated debates with other Sharks on the popular Channel Ten show. However, this latest “incident” is entirely fabricated.

Shark Tank’s Stars Have Been Connected to Bitcoin in the Past

Bitcoin Revolution is scamming users by claiming to have a connection with Shark Tank. Bitcoin Revolution has no connection to Shark Tank. The software is a complete scam.

However, there are some connections between Shark Tank and bitcoin. In fact, multiple Sharks appear to have legitimate stakes in various cryptocurrencies or bitcoin companies.

Daymond John, for example, recently revealed that he owns both bitcoin and Ethereum. Kevin O’Leary, meanwhile, recently announced that he had invested $100,000 in a bitcoin investing app.

Shark Tank Star Daymond John Owns Bitcoin and Ethereum

In January 2018, Shark and FUBU creator Daymond John conducted an interview with Time where he revealed that he owns bitcoin and Ethereum.

“I meet a lot of people with money to deploy,” said John in the interview.

“Let’s say you want to invest in cryptocurrency or MedTech or real estate. Every single one of those is going to have a vast amount of things you need to know. If you’re not investing in yourself [and learning], I can sell you anything I want in cryptocurrency or MedTech. Remember, every single exchange of money, no matter what, someone has made money in it. People sell us insecurities.”

John has an estimated net worth of around $250 million.

Kevin O’Leary Invested $100,000 in a Bitcoin Investing App

Canadian entrepreneur Kevin O’Leary revealed later in 2018 that he had invested $100,000 in a bitcoin investing app, indicating that he also sees a positive future for the crypto space.

As discussed on BitcoinExchangeGuide.com, Kevin O’Leary invested $100,000 in crypto investing app called Bundil. The creator of the company approached the Sharks offering a 10% stake in the company for $100,000. All of the Sharks passed on the offer but one. Kevin O’Leary made an offer for $100,000 for 50% of the company.

This one's a risk, and that's why I need 50% equity!! I'm going to have to put a lot of work on this one but I'm confident it will pay off! https://t.co/sHcqhFTwb4 pic.twitter.com/dmN3q2lugN

— Kevin O'Leary (@kevinolearytv) October 22, 2018

“Which cryptos does it support?”, asked O’Leary in a segment featured on the show. Bundil’s creator responded that the app supported bitcoin, Litecoin, and Ethereum.

“You are going to fail within 36 months,” explained O’Leary after making the offer, which devalued the company by 80%.

Ultimately, Bundil’s creator accepted the offer from Kevin O’Leary, accepting a 50/50 stake in the company in exchange for $100,000.

Today, Bundil continues to allow users to invest their spare change into bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. The official Bundil website also features a prominent, “As Seen on Shark Tank” logo at the top. Unlike Bitcoin Revolution, Bundil has legitimately been featured on Shark Tank.

Conclusion: Bitcoin Revolution is a Complete Scam

There are plenty of scams surrounding the crypto space today. Bitcoin Revolution is one scam, however, that seems to have particular strong marketing. The scam claims that some magical bitcoin trading software with an accuracy of 99.4% can help anyone get rich quick overnight. Various articles and advertisements have also suggested that Bitcoin Revolution has been featured on Shark Tank.

In reality, Bitcoin Revolution has never been featured on Shark Tank. The software is a complete scam designed to steal your personal data and sell it to advertisers – that’s it.
