Binance To Host First-Ever SAFU Conference Amidst Tough Market Competition

Binance, one of the world’s biggest crypto exchanges has announced it will hold a week-long symposium. This is its first major gathering of crypto enthusiasts and developers since it started operation a few years ago.

The conference is part of the effort by major players and actors in the cryptocurrency industry to help enhance the adoption of crypto and revamp the vision of the industry.

Binance Blockchain Week is scheduled to be a conference of notable experts and players in the crypto industry, including blockchain technology developers, IT gurus, digital asset managers, crypto thought leaders, and crypto investors and major merchants.

In a press statement released earlier on Thursday, December 6, the China-based crypto exchange stated that it the conference will also feature a two-day Binance Secured Assets for Users (SAFU) Hackathon.

Binance currently operates as one of the digital exchanges with the lowest fee rates and remains the most popular cryptocurrency, trading pairs, like Bitcoin, Litecoin, and Ethereum among others.

The conference hackathon would focus specifically on building blockchain based devices that will help secure crypto assets. This is obviously a big step in the right direction as efforts continue to wade in towards salvaging cryptocurrency from the negative outlook, speculations and analysis.

Binance CEO Changpeng Zhao highlights that the conference will take place in Singapore, a country popularly known as the hub for finance and technology in the entire Asian business and IT world.

Zhao, popularly called ‘CZ’ in the industry, further reiterated the actors that will be taking active role in the conference, to include “most notable players and thought leaders in blockchain.”

Speaking earlier in the week, Binance released a statement about its plans to launch a blockchain tech, Binance Chain, a tool or strategy that is reportedly intended to bring about improving the advancement of the crypto industry.

The multilingual platform which reached the 10th position among the top volume cryptocurrency exchanges within a short time of 5 months also revealed a second preview of its soon-to-be-launched decentralized exchange, which will be a main feature of the Binance Chain proposal.

In furtherance to its commitment to establishing a massive adoption and increased interest for the industry, Binance in October revealed the company’s intention to found Blockchain Charity Foundation (BCF). This would take place at the World Investment Forum, to be hosted by the United Nations Trade and Development (UNCTAD) in Geneva, Switzerland.

The conference would be the second in the crypto world within the space of a month, following a massive turnout—more than 2,800 attendees—that greeted a huge blockchain symposium organized by BlockShow in Singapore last month.

The conference had 50 speakers and panelists who discussed among other important themes the future of the virtual business and exchange market.

Binance is taking this step to help the cryptocurrency market as well as focus on remaining on top of the exchange market as the largest and most sought-after platform by traders.
