It is Official, Binance Announces Beta Launch of Its Academy

On Tuesday, August 14, cryptocurrency exchange, Binance has revealed the beta launch of its educational platform, Binance Academy.

Both supporter of providing accurate information and free access to education, the Binance Academy is an ideal platform in which investors of all expertise levels can build a foundation to their blockchain and crypto knowledge. With the growing number of proclaimed “blockchain knowledge” found on the internet, certifying that what’s being acquired is truthful and with utmost accuracy is a challenging task. Therefore, Binance made it their goal to ensure that one’s learning experience is not compromised in any way.

Some of the areas that will be emphasized via Binance Academy include blockchain fundamentals, which involve its purpose, pros and cons, reason for existence, and mining. Other topics that will be presented include coins, tokens and utility, security, how to evaluate a strong ICO from a weak, and much more.

The reason for launching in an open beta, as per the Binance team, is to directly get “feedback, right from the start” from those who will be using the material for learning purposes.

Binance Academy appears to be a community-to-community platform, as the content found via the educational platform is an effort of passionate individuals. A supposed idea was proposed by the Binance team in which users knowledgeable on the matters were encouraged to “create and submit [their] own educational video from the [chosen] topics.” Whichever team was successful in creating thoughtful and user-friendly video contents would not only see their work published via Binance Academy, but also get a reward of nearly 200 BNB.
