Amazon Web Services (AWS) is hiring a Financial Services Specialist for digital asset underwriting, transaction processing, and custody in the cloud.

According to a recent job posting, the infrastructure giant is looking for someone to work with innovative fintech and global financial institutions. Also, someone who can help them,

“transform the way they transact digital assets (ex. cryptocurrencies, CBDCs [central bank digital currencies], stable coins, security-backed tokens, asset-backed tokens and NFTs [non-fungible tokens]) from price discovery to execution, settlement, and custody.”

This isn’t the first time that Amazon is looking to dive into crypto. Earlier this year, another job posting covered the e-commerce giant preparing to launch a digital currency project in Mexico.

According to previous job postings, Amazon’s move in digital assets is also expected to include a payment token called “Amazon coin.”

Now, the latest AWS job ad states that the company's solution architects, ISVs, systems integrators, and sales team will deliver the solutions that move its customers towards end-to-end digital asset transaction processing, underwriting, and custody in the cloud.
