$40 Million in Crypto Currency Stolen after Hacking, South Korean Exchange Reports

South Korean cryptocurrency exchange Coinrail reported a hack on its website during the early morning hours of June 10, 2018.
The thieves allegedly made off with over $ 40 million worth of altcoins and assorted tokens.
Executives announced that roughly 30 percent of the tokens the exchange was housing have been taken, which amounted to nearly $ 20 million worth of NPXS (Pundi X) tokens, $ 14 million of Aston X, $ 6 million in tokens for Dent and over $ 1 million TRON.
Trouble began in January after nearly half-a-billion in cryptocurrency was stolen from popular Japanese exchange Coincheck.
Coinsecure was the third victim, and saw over $ 3 million worth of bitcoin stolen from its wallet last April.
