Tron [TRX], the eleventh largest cryptocurrency on CoinMarketCap, has been struggling in the bear market. The Tron Foundation is trying to keep the community momentum up by releasing regular updates about the developments taking place in the Tron ecosystem. The DApps weekly report is an effort towards the same.

Tron DApps observed gradual growth and the number of smart contracts reached 779. Tron reported an increase of 10,000 in its daily active users, taking the count to 50,000, which is more than previous week’s numbers. The 24-hour transactions also noted a 10% rise, when compared to the past week.

Tron received support from CoinCodex, a platform that ranks all cryptocurrencies and exchanges, similar to CoinMarketCap. It added a Tron DApp button on its homepage and further added 2,000 projects. Among its existing DApps, Tron highlighted three of its DApps in the user experience report – Stake Them All, Smart Town, and TradeHome.

Stake Them All is a game where users can play and win TRX rewards, in accordance with difficulty levels. Smart Town, a 3D shooting game, requires players to spend TRX within the game to get their character to start the game, to move, and to attack enemies. The last DApp, TradeHome, is a decentralized exchange launched on April 14 and is based on the Tron ecosystem. It has a low threshold for token listing and supports fast trading pair listing for tokens in the ecosystem.

Despite these updates and developments, Tron noted a fall of 2.27% over the past day and was valued at $0.0234. At press time, the coin noted a market cap of $1.56 billion and a 24-hour trading volume of $761 million. Over the past seven days, TRX plunged by 11.44%. However, a ray of hope was seen as TRX recorded a minimal growth of 0.26% over the hour, at press time.
