Канадский майнер на 46% увеличил корпоративный хешрейт биткоина

Пройдя листинг, HIVE Blockchain Technologies, купила большую партию майнингового оборудования.

Канадская компания HIVE Blockchain Technologies, которая недавно прошла листинг на фондовой бирже, приобрела 3 тыс. 19 единиц майнинговых машин MicroBT WhatsMiner M30S с суммарной мощностью 264 Ph/s. Тем самым, HIVE Blockchain Technologies увеличила корпоративный хешрейт биткоина на 46%.

Купленные машины, которые раньше принадлежали Foundry Digital LLC, дочерней компании Digital Currency Group (DCG), уже установлены на операционных площадках HIVE Blockchain Technologies, которые есть в трех городах Канады — Квебек, Гранд Фолз и Лашют.

Продавец, Foundry Digital LLC, получает в обмен на майнеры 1,5 млн ценных бумаг-варрантов. Каждая из таких бумаг предоставляет право ее владельцу в течение двух лет обменять ее на обыкновенную акцию HIVE Blockchain Technologies в пропорции 1:1 и с индикативной ценой в 3,11 канадских доллара за каждый варрант.

HIVE Blockchain Technologies также договорилась с Foundry о том, что предоставит майнинговому пулу Foundry USA Pool возможность использовать вычислительные мощности HIVE Blockchain Technologies. Напомним, что участниками Foundry USA Pool являются сама Foundry, а также Hut8, Bitfarms и Blockcap.

В HIVE Blockchain Technologies заявили, что намерены увеличивать число биткоинов, которые есть в резервах у этой организации — сейчас речь идет о 605 биткоинах. При этом в HIVE Blockchain Technologies подчеркнули приверженность стратегии использования все большего объема электричества, которое генерируется из возобновляемых источников энергии. Ранее стало известно о том, что майнеры начали увеличивать свою положительную нетто-позицию по биткоинам.
