Could Ledger Build an ERC-20 Functionality on Its App?
Most of us know the famous cryptocurrency hardware wallet manufacturer Ledger. They provide different kinds of wallets to its clients. Perhaps, the most famous and known is the Ledger Nano S.
Although Ledger supports different virtual currencies, they do not offer an ERC-20 functionality on the Ledger app. Clearly, this is something that several users are requesting and that would increase the interest in the project.
A reddit user called Theft_Via_Taxation said on the famous social network that it is surprising that it is not possible to view or send ERC-20 tokens from the ledger app.
He wrote:
“It’s crazy to me that I still can’t view or send ERC-20 from the ledger app. This would dramatically increase many people's interest in the project and support hundreds of coins.”
Immediately after, other users such as Md_38 answered that Ledger Live should also synchronize ERC-20 tokens and have a dark mode, since the interface is totally white and clear.
The interesting thing is that the user greweb, Ledger Live Lead Frontend, answered saying that they have planned this and that everything is in progress. However, first will be implemented on the explorer side.
Theft_Via_Taxation seemed very happy about the answer provided by Ledger.
