Blockchain Game Splinterland hits milestone record of daily gamers

Blockchain game Splinterlands has hit a record in the market after attaining 2.32 million daily rentals as of April 15, 2022. Card rentals are among the most popular elements of the play-to-earn game console. They allow gamers to utilize their favourite cards without overspending while also allowing owners to make extra money by leasing their electronic cards to other gamers.

Splinterlands offers gamers rental markets for NFTs

In July 2021, Splinterlands was the first to begin rental markets for non-fungible tokens (NFTs). The option enables gamers to perform and profit without purchasing their personal cards. Most cards are available for rent for one-hundredth of a cent, rendering games more affordable to participants.

Other elements on the site include totems, packs, titles, skins, lands, and card leases. The business has revealed plans to unveil validator nodes with a burn and incentive objective of $1 billion.

The case of a gamer who started with only $10 in Splinterlands but now has close to $17,000 in his account was recently highlighted in an article published by The Motley Fool. This was since they exchanged and leased cards to increase their ranking and collection of cards.

While commenting on the company attaining this milestone, the CEO of Splinterlands, Jesse “Aggroed” Reich, said:

We recently shared that we hit 2 billion games played, and now we’re here, reaching another remarkable milestone in the history of NFT rentals. We look forward to achieving more of these in the future.

Splinterlands top-ranked blockchain game

On Dappradar, Splinterlands is presently the top-ranked blockchain game, with hundreds of thousands of gamers participating daily.

Aly Madhavji, Blockchain Founders Fund Managing Partner, also commented on this milestone. He said:

Splinterlands has delivered many industry innovations in the blockchain gaming space and continues to deliver the best perks to its players. This new achievement is a significant milestone in transforming the gaming industry.
