Президент России Владимир Путин недавно предложил внедрить цифровую валюту для альянса БРИКС, чтобы поддержать экономическое развитие стран в этом блоке. По его мнению, новая цифровая валюта поможет развивающимся экономикам минимизировать инфляцию и ослабить влияние западных финансовых систем.
Кристофер Уоллер, член правления ФРС США, заявил, что стейблкоины могут принести пользу финансовой системе, если их правильно регулировать. «Стейблкоины способны избавить нас от посредников при проведении платежей и, таким образом, снизить их стоимость на глобальном уровне», — комментарий Уоллера.
